James Darren “Tabby” Carman, age 55, of the Walltown Community in Casey County, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 18, 2021 at his home. Born Monday, June 28, 1965 in Liberty, Kentucky, he was the son of Juanita Hatter Carman of the Walltown community and the late L.T. Carman. His loving wife, whom he married September 17, 2008, is Deborah Lynn Gaddis Carman of Walltown. Tabby was a member of Walltown Christian Church and worked at Intelligrated in Danville, Kentucky. In his spare time, Tabby enjoyed tinkering in his garage and riding his Ford tractor.
In addition to his wife and mother, Tabby leaves behind three sons, Matthew Gaddis (Shelby) of Brandenburg, Kentucky, Daniel King of Danville, and Jason King of Moreland, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Koen & Asher Gaddis; one brother, Dennis Stringer (Janet) of Kings Mountain, Kentucky; one sister, Vicky Franks (Tommy Wesley) of Walltown; special nephew, Jeremy Franks of Liberty; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his father, Tabby was preceded in death by one son, James Michael “Mikey” Carman.
A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Monday, February 22, 2021 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.
The Public Funeral Service will begin at 1:00PM Monday at the funeral home. Bro. Lynville Hatter will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be live streamed on Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home Facebook page.
Burial will follow in Dunham Cemetery. Matthew Gaddis, Jonathan Fultz, Jeremy Franks, Dillion Franks, Jason King, and Daniel King will serve as Active Pallbearers.
