Irene Renee Hendricks

Irene Renee Hendricks, 63, of Lancaster passed away on July 2, 2026 at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born on May 25, 1963 in Oakland, California to the late Larry and Sandra Clark Chambers.

Irene enjoyed bowling, diamond art and music. While living in California, she volunteered with homeless outreach.

Surviving is her companion, Thea Hendricks; a son, Scott Burr (Clair) of Brentwood, California; three sisters, Helene Casey (Mark) of Brentwood, California, Maurene Lyons (Danny Sullivan) of Farfield, California, Jaylene Lyons of Citrus Heights, California; two grandchildren, Anthony Burr and Thomas Burr; several nieces and nephews; and godchildren, Andrew Hubler of Kentucky, Kathryn Hubler of Kentucky, Adryanna-Lee Hendricks of Sacramento, California and Seth Hendricks of Pittsburg, California.

Irene’s wishes for cremation will be honored, and no services are planned at this time.
