Iker Alexander Godbey, age 6, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, became God’s little angel on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at his home. Born Sunday, November 6, 2016, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, he was the son of William Chad and Janie Caudill Godbey of Waynesburg. Iker attended Crab Orchard Baptist Church. He will be remembered by his infectious laugh, his beautiful smile, and being a mama’s boy.
In addition to his parents, Iker leaves behind three brothers, Triston, Noah, and Kaden Godbey all of Waynesburg; two sisters, Emma, and Madeline Godbey of Waynesburg; maternal grandmother, Nancy Caudill of Kings Mountain, Kentucky; paternal grandparents, Jeff, and Sharon Godbey of Waynesburg; one aunt, Niki Caudill of Kings Mountain; and one uncle, Kirk Godbey of Lexington, Kentucky.
Iker was preceded in death by one sister, Isabelle Grace “Izzy” Godbey.
A Public Visitation will be held 11-1PM Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.
A Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Saturday at the funeral home with Bro.TJ Godby officiating. Burial will follow in Pond Cemetery. Triston Godbey, Noah Godbey, Jeff Godbey, and Kirk Godbey will serve as Active Pallbearers. Kaden Godbey will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
