Helen Floyd Johnson, age 87, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at her home. Born Monday, August 14, 1933, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Willie & Della Williams Floyd. Helen worked as the bookkeeper for 53 years at Stanford Tire. She was a member of Stanford Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. Helen loved to study her Bible, quilt, crochet, and cook in her spare time.
Helen leaves behind one daughter, Brenda Greer (Lester) of Stanford; one son, Gary Johnson (Pamela) of Stanford; nine grandchildren, Carol Sims (Gerald), Heidi Carnes (Stan), Trish Brummett (Dudley), Beth Ware (Jericho), Alexis Greer, Chloe Greer, Lori Greer, Audrey Greer, and Brandi Greer; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson due later this year; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by the father of her children, Dallas Johnson; two brothers, Edwin Floyd and Lynn Floyd; one sister, Esther Sims; and one infant sister.
A Private Graveside Service & Burial will take place Friday, June 4, 2021, at Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Bro. Gerald Sims will officiate the service.
The Private Graveside Service will be live streamed on Fox & Friend Funeral Home Facebook page at 2:00PM Friday.
