Helen Hubble, age 73, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 26, 2024. Born Sunday, March 18, 1951, in Lincoln County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Paul & Flora Jane Wesley Harris. Her loving husband is Jim Hubble of Waynesburg. Helen retired from American Greetings, where she worked for over 40 years. Helen was a member of Parlor Grove Baptist Church. Her greatest joy was being “Memaw” to her three grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Helen loved the Lord and always desired for her family members to go to Heaven. She was an avid UK Basketball fan and loved to talk to her sister daily on the telephone.
In addition to her husband, Helen leaves behind one son, Daniel Hubble (Amanda) of Waynesburg; three grandchildren, Emily Hubble, Elijah Hubble, and Easton Hubble all of Waynesburg; siblings, Tobe Todd of Louisville, Kentucky, Eddie Harris of Springfield, Missouri, Priscilla Dick (David) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Tim Harris (Eva) of Waynesburg; one sister-in-law, Linda Harris of Waynesburg; and several nephews, nieces and other extended family members who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by siblings, Glen Todd, Clifford Harris, and Michael Harris (infant).
A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.
The Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, at the funeral home. Bro. Josh Pennington will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Helen’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.
Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery.
