Gordon K. Sheron

Gordon K. Sheron, age 80, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 11, 2025, at his home.  Born Saturday, September 16, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Robert Hubble & Josephine Gooch Sheron.  His loving wife, whom he married Saturday, February 15, 1969, is Shirley Raines Sheron of Stanford.  Gordon was a U.S. Army Veteran, who actively served during Vietnam.  Gordon was a devoted family man, a hard worker, and a retired dairy farmer as of 2017.  Gordon enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

In addition to his wife, Gordon leaves behind one daughter, Kelly Sheron Mullins (Ricky) of Stanford; two grandchildren, Roby Keith Mullins (Sierra Potts) of Stanford, and Rylee Kate Mullins of Stanford; and several cousins.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Friday, January 17, 2025, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Friday, at the funeral home.  Bro. Jonathan Grizzell will officiate the service.  The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Gordon’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.

Burial, with Full Military Honors, will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.  Roby Keith Mullins, Larry Raines, Rob Raines, Jeff Raines, Dale Kirby, and Matthew Gorley will serve as Active Pallbearers.  Herner Burton will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
