Glenn W. Davis

Glenn W. Davis, age 79, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at his residence. Born Sunday, May 12, 1940 in Harlan, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Maurice “M.C.” and Virginia Lee Combs Davis. Glenn leaves behind his loving wife, whom he married on Saturday, December 21, 1968 is Evelyn Spoonamore Davis of Stanford. Glenn was a graduate of Danville High School and Eastern Kentucky University. He previously was a teacher at Williamstown High School, Casey County High School, and Lincoln County High School. He was self-employed as a Cattle Dealer, worked in Real Estate Sales and also worked as a car dealership salesman. Glenn loved his cattle business and was a member of Stanford Baptist Church. He was the recipient of the Legion of Leaders Award and the Truck Sales Honor Club.

In addition to his wife, Glenn leaves behind one brother, Raymond H. Davis (Diana) of Lexington, Kentucky; one niece, Allison Culbertson (Logan) of Versailles, Kentucky; one nephew, Michael Davis (Ashlee) of Richmond, Kentucky; one great nephew, Grayson Davis of Richmond; and three great nieces, Piper Davis of Richmond, Lucy Grace and Zoe Lee Culbertson of Versailles.

Due to the current COVID-19 regulations, a private funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. Bro. Justin Carter and Bro. Jonathan Grizzell will officiate the service. Private Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
