Geraldine "Gerry" Carmack

Geraldine “Gerry” Carmack, age 89, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.  Born Sunday, August 16, 1931 in the South Fork community of Lincoln County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Lucian & Stella Carrier Privett.  Her loving husband, whom she married Friday, May 29, 1953, is Elmer Lee Carmack of Waynesburg.  Gerry was retired from Cowden’s Manufacture, after 44 years of work.  Gerry was a big UK Wildcat fan, and enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her husband, Gerry leaves behind one brother, Harlan Privett of Waynesburg; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing. 

In addition to her parents, Gerry was preceded in death by two brothers, Arnold B. Privett and Gordon Privett; and one sister, Linda Sharon Perry. 

A Public Visitation will be held 1-2PM Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.

The Public Funeral Service will begin at 2:00PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  Bro. Tracy Valentine will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery.

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to current COVID-19 regulations, face coverings must be worn by all in attendance; and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
