George Edward Morgan Obituary

George Edward Morgan, age 72, of Yosemite, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, January 19, 2026.  Born Monday, June 15, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Faris Burkley & Gwen L. Walker Morgan.  George graduated from Princeton High School in Cincinnati.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran who actively served his country July 5, 1972-July 25, 1975.  George worked in construction and was a dump truck driver for many years.  George enjoyed NASCAR and fishing and was a Cincinnati Bengals and The Ohio State University Buckeyes fan.

George leaves behind one sister, Tamme Bright of North Vernon, Indiana; and several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Sylvester.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Friday, January 23, 2026, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 1PM Friday, at the funeral home.

Burial, with Full Military Honors, will follow in Durham Cemetery in Casey County, Kentucky.
