Elizabeth Ann “Momo” Cook Obituary

Elizabeth Ann “Momo” Cook, age 62, of Danville, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in Junction City, Kentucky.  Born Sunday, September 14, 1958 in Stanford, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Hollas Hasty, Jr. and the late Easter Marie Barlow Riggle.  Momo was a home health care nurse.  She previously attended Blue Lick Baptist Church, loved adult coloring, making crafts, watching movies, the outdoors, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Momo leaves behind one son, Bryan Cook (Melissa) of Danville; three grandchildren, Brady Tyler Cook, Cherish Smith, and Christa Smith all of Danville; three brothers, Larry Hasty (Phyllis) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, George “Bogie” Hasty (Jean) of Lebanon, Kentucky, and Steven Hasty (Elaine Hundley) of Moreland, Kentucky; one sister, Yvonne “Von” Byrd (Elwood) of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; special friend, Gail Freeman of Danville; special cousin, Sandra Hasty of Danville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Momo was preceded in death by one brother, Danny Bruce “Pos” Hasty.

A private family viewing was held Friday, May 7, 2021 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. Cremation rites will be honored.  A Private Burial will take place at a later date.
