Eleanor Tokle

Eleanor Tokle, age 82, of Crab Orchard, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Stanford, Kentucky. Born Monday, March 20, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Griselda Schaare Dingee. Eleanor leaves behind her loving husband, Harold Tokle, of Crab Orchard, whom she married Saturday, July 6, 1957. Eleanor was a member of Danville Seventh Day Adventists. She loved animals and was also a member of Lincoln County Homemakers and the Red Hat Society.

In addition to her husband, Eleanor leaves behind one son, Harold R. Tokle, Jr. (Rhonda) of Crab Orchard; two daughters, Andrea Miller (Jay) of Stanford and Laura Lynne Biestek (Dennis Gagnon) of Wallingford, Connecticut; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and one brother, James Dingee (Barbara) of Bronxsville, New York.

In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by one sister, Elsie Agnes Kemble (Jack).

A Public Visitation will be held 10:30-12:30PM Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held at 12:30PM Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the funeral home with Dr. Jay Miller and Pastor John Remitera officiating. Harold Tokle, Jr., Jay Miller, Dennis Gagnon, Josh Miller, James Miller, Eric Pearl, Brett Biestek, Jeff Biestek, Brad Betack, and Justin Spady will serve as Pallbearers.  Cremation Rites will be honored after the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions suggested to, Heritage Hospice, Alzheimer’s Association, and the local Humane Society.
