Dormas L. Bullock

Dormas L. Bullock, age 73, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Born Thursday, February 21, 1952, in Pulaski County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Elmer & Ethel (York) Bullock. His loving wife, whom he married Tuesday, April 24, 1973, is Shelia (Hodge) Bullock of Eubank. Dormas was a retired truck driver and enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising his fighting chickens.

In addition to his wife, Dormas leaves behind one son, Dormas L. “Mighty Mouse” Bullock, Jr. (Melissa) of Eubank; two daughters, Tonya Bullock Sears (David) of Eubank, and Priscilla Marie Bullock of Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Rachel Farmer, Lena Sears, Bobby Sears, Jr. (Hailey), McKenzie Angel Rayne Bullock, Allison Poynter (Eric), Sherry Musgrove (Will), Dakota Bullock, Madalynn Bullock, K.J. Hall, Kylie Hall, and Hunter Hall; 10 great-grandchildren, Madison Farmer, Allie Glover, Hagen Glover, Emma Sears, Travis Hopper, Aubrey Poynter, Cammeron Poynter, Carter Musgrove, Willow Musgrove, and Wylie Musgrove; one great-grandson due any time now, Colson Sears; and many nieces and nephews and numerous other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Dormas was preceded in death by one grandson by marriage, Johnathan Farmer; two brothers, Elmer Bullock, Jr. and Delmas Bullock; and three sisters, Faye Owen, Letha Jean Hodge, and Betty Inabnitt.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 1PM Thursday, at the funeral home. Bro. Dustin York will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Dormas’ memorial page of the funeral home’s website.

Burial will follow in Etna Cemetery. Dormas Bullock Jr., David Hoskins, Bobby Sears Jr., Dakota Bullock, Eric Poynter, Will Musgrove, and Tyler Rosario will serve as Active Pallbearers.
