Doris Jeanene Berry

Doris Jeanene Berry, age 76, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Sunday September 15, 2019 at Stanford Care & Rehab. Born Saturday, September 26, 1942 in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late George W. Lay and the late Sarah Eggart Lay Peck. Doris was the widow of Donald Davis Berry, whom she married on March 30, 1958, and preceded her in death Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Doris was a member of Green River Pentecostal Church. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.

 Doris leaves behind one son, Steve Berry of Stanford; one daughter, Vicki Yocum (Bruce) of Stanford; five grandchildren, Lisa Sheets (AJ), Steve Berry II, Eli Berry, Jeffery Carman, and Jason Carman; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kathy Tillett (Tim) of Stanford.

In addition to her husband and parents, Doris is preceded in death by one son, Chris Berry.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Green River Pentecostal Church with Bro. Rick Naylor officiating the service. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

The Visitation will be held 6-9PM Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the church.
