Donnie Ray Holton, age 61, of the South Fork community of Lincoln County, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. Born Sunday, March 8, 1964, in Stanford, Kentucky, he was the son of Linda (Martin) Holton of South Fork and the late Clarence “Junior” Holton. His loving wife, whom he married Saturday, April 11, 1987, is Linda Patricia (Padgett) Holton of South Fork. Donnie previously worked as a welder for Sellers Engineering and Fred Cain, worked as a meat slicer at various Save-A-Lot Grocery Stores, was a farmer, and previously volunteered for the McKinney Fire Department. Donnie enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and attending truck pulls. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to his wife and mother, Donnie leaves behind one son, Shawn Holton of South Fork; one brother, Darin Holton (Kim) of Stanford; one sister, Cindy Williams (Larry) of South Fork; mother-in-law, Pauline (Dick) Padgett of South Fork; and several nieces and nephews and numerous other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his father, Donnie was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Noah Lee Padgett.
Public Visitations will be held 5-8PM Friday, August 8, 2025, and 11AM-1PM Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.
A Public Funeral Service will be held 1PM Saturday, at the funeral home. Bro. Johnny Walls will officiate the service.
Burial will follow in K.P. Hall Cemetery. Darin Holton, Larry Williams, Greg Carter, Ricky Carter, Boyd Coleman, and Jordan Coleman will serve as Active Pallbearers. Sebastian and Jocelynn Smith will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
