Donald Ray "Donnie" Lawson

Donald Ray “Donnie” Lawson, age 67, of Liberty, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.  Born Monday, June 17, 1957, in Hamilton County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Anderson Sr. & Imogene Reed Lawson.  Donnie was a mechanic by trade.  He loved motorcycles, loved “oldies” music, and liked to travel.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Donnie leaves behind one daughter, Precious Louise Lawson of Crab Orchard, Kentucky; one son of Liberty and son, Chad Adams of Hustonville, Kentucky; two sisters, Tina Lawson and Brenda Durham (Randall) both of Liberty; one granddaughter, Summer Lawson; a special nephew, David Lawson of Liberty; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his wife, Kim Dearth Lawson; and two brothers, Ronald Lawson and Lloyd Lawson.

Cremation Rites have been honored.  A private burial will be held, at a later date, in Combest Cemetery.
