David Wayne King

David Wayne King, age 66, of Kirksville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022. Born Friday, May 18, 1956, in Tucson, Arizona, he was the son of Frances Grant King and the late David Lloyd King. David leaves behind his wife, Vickie Fields King of Kirksville, whom he married, Friday, October 31, 1975. He was of Baptist Faith. David loved his family, enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping, his big riding lawnmower and gaming, either video or online. He was an artist and a craftsman.

Along with his wife and mother, David leaves behind two daughters, Bettina Evan Teague (Nathan) of Corbin, Kentucky, and Carolyn Ann Bowles (Chris) of Richmond, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Rachel Priddy of Louisville, Kentucky, and Cadence Johnson of Corbin; one brother, Jessie Lee King (Peggy) of Richmond; and two sisters, Ann Eaves (Brent) of Richmond and Dora Burchett (the late Richard) of Richmond.

A Public Visitation will be held Monday, December 5, 2022, at Berea Evangelist Church, 180 Plaza Drive, Berea, KY 40403 from 11-1PM.

The Public Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, at the church, with Jeff Osborne officiating the service. The funeral service will be recorded and uploaded to his webpage at a later date. 

Burial will follow in Madison County Memorial Gardens. Chris Bowles, Nathan Teague, Jessie Lee King, Brent Eaves, Joe Fields, Dale Fields, Sr., Dale Fields, Jr., and David Fields will serve as Active Pallbearers. Cory Abrams will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.

Memorial Contributions may be given to any animal rescue of your choice.
