David Sparks Obituary
David Sparks, age 78, of McKinney, Kentucky, formerly of Tampa, Florida, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022, at his home. Born Saturday, May 20, 1944, in Middletown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Isaac Edward & Vertie Mae Wilhoit Sparks. David was a truck driver, US Marine Corps Veteran, loved playing music, and was a published author of six books and many songs. His two dogs and his cat were his world.
David leaves behind one son, David E. Sparks (Farrah) of Versailles, Kentucky; two daughters, Jessi Mullins (Brian) of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Sherry Blakeman of Allen County, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Williams of Wetumpka, Alabama; and special friend, Sharon Lyons of Tampa, Florida.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Long and Thomas Williams; and one sister, Martha Anderson.
Cremation Rites have been honored. No public services planned.
