Danny Strunk

Danny Strunk, age 67, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky.  Born Saturday, May 18, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Alfred & Mary Ruth Monroe Strunk.  Danny was a US Army Veteran and previously worked with various HVAC and mechanic businesses.  Danny was a “jack of all trades” and loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting Ginseng, and collecting coins and arrowhead rocks.  Danny loved spending time with his daughters, Tara and Brittany, and his grandchildren, Aubree, Bryston, Eli, Ean, and Emmitt.

Danny leaves behind two daughters, Tara B. Hampton (Zach) of Stanford, and Brittany D. Caldwell (Dionte) of Danville, Kentucky; one son, Jeremy Strunk of Ohio; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Manning (Lewis) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Micki “Veronica” Leichman (Bill) of Madeira, Ohio; special friends and neighbors, Will & Hilary Bramble and family of Stanford; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by four brothers, Troy Strunk, Alfred Strunk Jr., Terry Strunk, and L. Wayne Strunk; and two sisters, Janice Strunk, Darlene Dietrich; and two infant twin sisters, Iris Rose Strunk and Lily Rose Strunk. 

Cremation Rites have been honored.  Private burial will take place, at a later date.
