Connie Sue (Herrington) Taylor

Connie Sue Taylor, age 73, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. Born Tuesday, August 26, 1947, in Lincoln County Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Elizabeth Westerfield Herrington. Her loving husband, whom she married Saturday, August 19, 1967 is Ronnie “R.C.” Taylor of Stanford. Connie was a member of Fort Logan Church of Christ. She was a Kentucky Colonel, an avid reader and she loved studying the Bible.

In addition to her husband, Connie leaves behind two sons; Michael Wayne Taylor (Margaret) and Mark Allen Taylor both of Stanford; two grandchildren, Maggie Elizabeth Taylor and Roland Curtis Taylor both of Stanford; one brother, Curtis Allen Herrington of Stanford; and four sisters, Brenda Caudill (Kenneth Ray) of Stanford, Gail Peterman (Pete) of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, Judy Herrington of Stanford and Debbie Popplewell (Robert) of Stanford.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Effie Herrington.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-2PM Friday, May 28, 2021 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home, Stanford.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Friday at the funeral home with Bro. Curtis Allen Herrington officiating the service. Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Roland Curtis Taylor, Scott Caudill, Bobby Dale Popplewell, Boone Baird, Jacob Baird and Cooper Brown will serve as Active Pallbearers.
