Charles Edward Stull, age 78, of Kings Mountain, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Born Thursday, October 9, 1941 in Kings Mountain, he was the son of the late Carlton & Flora Pulliam Stull. His loving wife, whom he married Friday, January 25, 1985 is Mary Joe-Anna Bedwell Stull of Kings Mountain. Charles was a US Army Vietnam Veteran, who served during the Vietnam era. Charles worked as a truck driver and was a farmer. Charles was a member of Pleasant Point Baptist Church, member of the VFW, DAV, and American Legion. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering with vehicles.
Charles leaves behind six daughters, Beverly Jo Gill (Dale), Bonnie Sue Stull, RoseMary Stull, Sara Ann McAninch (Estill Lee), Janice JoeAnn Stull all of Kings Mountain, and Gina Edwards (Derek Yazell) of Stanford, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Brandon Gill of Kings Mountain, Heather Walker (Theo) of Danville, Kentucky, and Phoenix McAninch of Kings Mountain; two great-grandchildren, Wesley and Brayden Gill of Kings Mountain; one brother, Danny Stull of Kings Mountain; three sisters, Peggy Padgett, Doris Phelps, and Nancy Wagoner (John) all of Kings Mountain; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by one son, Samuel Edward Junior Stull.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Rhodus & Lanny Hubbard officiating the service. Burial, with Full Military Honors performed by the Caswell-Saufley Post #18 of the American Legion, will follow in KP Hall Cemetery.
The Visitation will be held 12PM-2PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
