"CeeCe" Robertson

“CeeCe” Robertson, age 65, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022, at her home. Born Wednesday, January 23, 1957, to Ilene Jewell Roberts Mitchell and the late Lealon “Cracker Jack” Mitchell. She leaves behind her husband William H. “Bud” Robertson, Jr. of Waynesburg, whom she married on Tuesday, January 1, 1981. CeeCe worked as a Teachers Aid and Bus Driver. She was full of life and was considered the life of the party.  CeeCe was stubborn as a mule and very determined. She always wanted to include everyone. CeeCe was very caring and loving, making her family always feel loved and special, and was a friend to many.

In addition to her husband and mother, CeeCe leaves behind two sons, Daniel Robertson (Kendra) of Waco, Kentucky, and Stephen Robertson of Richmond, Kentucky; one daughter in law, Amy Robertson of Paint Lick, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Grace, Leigha, Micah, Ryley, Natalie, Alyssa, Emily, Hunter, and Remi Robertson; six brothers, Lee Mitchell of Dayton, Ohio, Jack Mitchell of McCreary County, Kentucky, Chris Mitchell of McCreary, Jay Mitchell of Waynesburg, Charles Helton of Ohio, and Michael Mitchell; six sisters, Shelva “Jo” Warman of McCreary County, Katrin Vanover of McCreary County, Samantha Hurd of McCreary County, Sharon Foster of McCreary County, Jackie Mitchell, and Brenda Mitchell; and a multitude of nieces and nephews who mourn her passing.

Along with her father, CeeCe was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Robertson; one brother, Shannon Mitchell; and two sisters, Donna Mitchell, and Christine Mitchell.

A Memorial Service will be held 6:30PM September 1, 2022, at Journey Community Church, Stanford, Kentucky. Daniel Robertson & Bro. Vola Brown will officiate the service.

A Public Visitation will be held 4-6:30PM September 1, 2022, at the church.
