Carolyn Renee Vanhook Chambliss, age 63, of Medina, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, in Jackson, Tennessee. Born Wednesday, November 15, 1961, in Danville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Darryl Keith and Patsy Wade Vanhook. Renee leaves behind her husband Joseph Charles Chambliss, whom she married Tuesday, December 6, 1983. She attended the Family Worship Center, where she was a media member. Renee enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, sewing, quilt, calligraphy, cooking, and all arts and crafts.
Along with her loving husband, Renee leaves behind, three grandchildren, Kaylee Renee Chambliss of Medina, Joseph Chase Chambliss of Medina, and Graclyn Ann-Marie Caddin of Medina; one brother, Chris Vanhook of Campton, Kentucky; and one sister, Reba Vanhook of Somerset, Kentucky; and numerous extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Renee was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Darryl Chambliss; one sister, Lora Sparks; and one nephew, Wade Vanhook.
A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-2PM Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.
A Public Funeral Service will be held 2PM Wednesday, at the funeral home. Bro. Rick Naylor will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Renee’s memorial page on the funeral home’s website.
Burial will be held at K.P. Hall Cemetery. Noel Vanhook, Josh Epling, Jamie Martin, Heath Alford, Tony Short, Daren Walls, Eric Walls, and Jordan Walls will serve as Active Pallbearers.
