Carl Hubert Bruner, Sr.

Carl Hubert Bruner, Sr., age 80, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.  Born Thursday, March 14, 1940 in Jessamine County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James Wesley & Frances Earl Bruner.  His loving wife, of over 40 years, is Linda Beal Bruner of Stanford.  Carl was a talented mechanic.  In his spare time, he enjoyed working on automobiles, riding motorcycles, fishing, and boating.

In addition to his wife, Carl leaves behind three sons, Eugene Edwards (Debbie) and Carl Bruner Jr. both of Nicholasville, Kentucky, and Ray Bruner of Texas; two daughters, Nancy Lou Mink (Harold) and Samantha Thacker both of Nicholasville; 7 grandchildren, Emily Lester (Danny), Ray Bruner Jr. (Sissy), Amy Edwards, Timothy Bruner (Virginia), Nicole Bruner, Ashley Durham (Brett), and Matthew Thacker; 12 great-grandchildren, Savannah Lester, Hunter Lester, Ashton Lester, Maddie Lester, Tyler Bruner, Connor Bruner, John-Thomas Roberts, Carson Wayne Dicks, Nathan Paul Dicks, Taylor Durham, Corbin Durham, and Alora Thacker; 2 great-grandchildren due soon; 1 great-great grandchild due soon; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing. 

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters.

Cremation Rites have been honored.  No services are scheduled.
