Cameron Jay Smith

Cameron Jay Smith, age 74, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025, in Stanford.  Born Wednesday, November 21, 1951, in Battle Creek, Michigan, he was the son of the late George VanDyken & the late Alexina (Cameron) Smith.  Jay worked in direct marketing.  Jay enjoyed many sports, and enjoyed collecting baseball cards.

Jay leaves behind special friends, Ruth Ann Gover and her children, Brandon & Christina Gover of Stanford; two daughters, Cory Smith and Mandee Kane (George) both of Tampa, Florida; five grandchildren; two brothers, George Smith (Judy) of London, Ohio, and Clayton Smith (Michelle) of Columbus, Ohio; good friends, Jim Harris and Sandy & Lee Pruitt; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

Cremation Rites honored.

A Private Visitation & Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Stanford Methodist Church.  Bro. Craig Taylor will officiate the service.
