Billy Wayne Miller, Jr.

Billy Wayne Miller, Jr., age 56, of Danville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 8, 2025, at his home.  Born April 28, 1968, in Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Billy Wayne Miller, Sr., and the late Ruth Brown Miller.  Billy served as a firefighter, December 7, 1995-April 8, 2025, at Lincoln District One and served as chief for many years.  Billy enjoyed hunting and fishing, in his spare time.

Billy leaves  behind one son, Billy Wayne Miller III of Danville; one daughter, Lily Miller of Garrard County, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Billy Wayne Miller IV, Alexander Dessius Peppard, and Violet Fugate all of Stanford, Kentucky; two brothers, James “Jim” Miller (Karen) of Columbia, Kentucky, and Jesse James Miller of Lancaster, Kentucky; one sister, Vickie L. King (Dennis) of Garrard County; nieces and nephew, Gwen Langley (Brian) of Lancaster, John Michael Lones (Amber) of Lancaster, and Sarah Elizabeth Ann Lones of Lancaster; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

A Public Visitation will be held 10AM-12PM Monday, April 14, 2025, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 12PM Monday, at the funeral home.  Chaplain Mike Oney will officiate the service.  The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Billy’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.

Entombment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.  Billy Wayne Miller III, James Rose, Jesse Rose, Brian McFerson, Jimmy Miller, Alex Rose, and Eric Davidson will serve as Active Pallbearers.
