Betty (Bullock) Inabnitt, age 83, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Friday, May 23, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Eubank. Born Saturday, April 4, 1942, in Pulaski County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Elmer & Ethel (York) Bullock. Betty was the widow of the late Kelly Inabnitt, whom she married Thursday, September 8, 1960, and preceded her in death Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Betty was a retired school bus driver for the Pulaski County Public School System, where she worked for over 30 years. Betty was of the Church of God faith, where she previously taught Sunday School. Betty was a published author of seven books, where she wrote poems, songs, and short stories. Betty was a member of Heaven’s Helpers gospel singers, founded the Widows Eat Together, and founded a Senior Citizens exercise class. Betty truly loved her children and grandchildren, and they truly loved her in return.
Betty leaves behind four daughters, Kelene Denny of Eubank, Darlene Winkler (Mike) of Eubank, Charlene Dishon (Oneil) of Eubank, and Jackalene Lowery (Danny) of Brodhead, Kentucky; 6 grandchildren, Kelly, Josh, Sunshine, Sabrina, Tony, and Justin; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Dormas Bullock (Sheila) of Eubank; her faithful K-9 companion of six years, Chewy; and several nieces, nephews and numerous other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Julie; two sons-in-law, Alvin Denny and Rick McDowell; two brothers, Elmer Bullock, Jr. and Delmas Bullock; and two sisters, Faye Owen and Letha Jean Hodge.
A Public Visitation will be held 5-8PM Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.
A Public Funeral Service will be held 2PM Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the funeral home. Bro. Troy Roberts will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Betty’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.
Burial will follow in Etna Cemetery. Patrick Richardson, Travis Durham, Charles Leger, Johnny Smith, Roger Ruckel, and Tommy Taylor will serve as Active Pallbearers. Wayne Martin and Steve Butcher will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
