Barbara Mae Terry Dunford

Barbara Mae Terry Dunford, age 62, of Danville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.  Born Sunday, May 14, 1961, in Stanford, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Alberta & Elizabeth Bishop Terry.  Barbara worked as an Accounting Assistant for many years with Robinson, Hughes & Christopher, PSC in Danville.  Barbara loved music and movies. 

Barbara leaves behind one daughter, Jessie McGirr (Kevin Turner) of Danville; two sons, Travis McGirr and Mike McGirr both of Danville; two grandchildren, Madison “Lexie” Grubbs of Bryantsville, Kentucky, and Jabe Moore of Danville; five brothers, Gary Terry of Stanford, Earl Terry (Janet) of Stanford, Michael Terry (Monica) of Stanford, David Terry of Danville, and Marco Terry of Stanford; three sisters, Connie Hall (Red) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Linda Richards of Florence, Kentucky, and Cathy Faulkner (Roy) of Danville; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing. 

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Terry; and one sister, Vickie Terry.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Thursday, at the funeral home.  The service will be livestreamed on Barbara’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website. 

Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.  Travis McGirr, Mike McGirr, Gary Terry, Patrick Terry, Joe Goode, and Cullen Terry will serve as Active Pallbearers.  Barbara’s grandchildren, nieces, and nephews will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
