Barbara Ann Willis, the most loving mother, gained her Heavenly healing on Friday, May 1, 2026. Barbara was born on October 28, 1968, in Somerset, Kentucky to Earnest “Coon” Padgett and the late Violet Collins Padgett.
She was a devoted Christian that was in constant conversation with The Savior and wanted all to know Him and know that He has always been so good to her. She loved serving others through a career in being a nurse aide, working in the fields and being a homemaker to her family. Barbara was the absolute best at yard work and had a green thumb no one else could compare to. She enjoyed thrifting and had the most generous heart in providing for others.
Barbara was preceded in death by her spouse, Bobby Willis; her mother, Violet Collins Padgett; brothers, Jeffery Padgett, Keith Padgett and Charles Padgett; and a sister, Tina Padgett.
She leaves to mourn and celebrate her life, her father, Earnest Padgett of Verbena, AL; seven children- son David Sims (Brittany), daughter Kayla Sims, daughter Whitney Isaacs (Anthony), son Jody Raney (Callie), daughter Deidra Shoemaker, daughter Destiney Shoemaker, daughter Harley Knight (Hunter), 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, that were her pride and joy- EllyAnn, Tipton, Bailee, Chloe, Kinzlee, Bryce, Branson, Peyton, Stella, Lillian, Karter, Addyson, Zoe, Remy, NatilieAnn, Gunner, Owen, Houston and Halston; Sisters- Bridgett, Marie, Trista; brothers- Roger, Harold, Shannon, Dale; and a host of other friends and family that she loved well.
A Public Visitation will be held 5-8PM Friday, May 8, 2026, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.
A Public Funeral Service will be held 10:30AM Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the funeral home. Bro. Caleb Hollis & Bro. Gerald Sims will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Barbara’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.
Burial will follow in Pond Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryce Raney, Branson Dunham, Tipton Sims, Robert Mims, Tommy Cox, Henry Burton.
