Anthony Winton Obituary

Anthony Winton, 80, of Houston, TX passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 in Stanford, KY at the home of his son. Born Tuesday, May 5, 1942 in Knoxville, TN to the late Dorothy James, he was a former employee of Ideal Lease, Inc. where he worked as a mechanic, and later in his life was employed as a bus driver for Groom Medical Center. Anthony loved playing bass guitar and was a former member of the band Future Stars.

Survivors include one son, Keith Anthony Whitehead (Cindy) of Stanford, KY; two daughters, Kenya Miles (Kevin) of Houston, TX, and Teresa Winton who resides in North Carolina; one brother, Clifford Clark of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Mary Pauline Flemming of Knoxville, TN, and Alma Epps who resides in Maryland; fifteen grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and his significant other of 15 years, Peggy Cozart of Knoxville, TN. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Winton and Gene Davis.

Cremation rites have been honored.
