Ann Doris Day Boyd

Ann Doris Day Boyd, age 90, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Stanford Crossing in Stanford, Kentucky.  Born Monday, December 24, 1934, in Lincoln County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Bryan W. & Vernie Lee Young Boyd.  Ann Doris previously worked as a sewing machine operator and was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church. 

Ann Doris leaves behind one step-daughter, Rose Stiles (Kim) of Georgetown, Kentucky; two step-sons, Garnett Ray Ellington (Penny) of Georgetown, and Ricky Wayne Ellington of Williamstown, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Boyd of Danville, Kentucky; one sister, Virginia Brown of Stanford; and numerous extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Ann Doris was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Boyd, Kenneth Boyd, and Raymond Eugene “Gene” Boyd; and three sisters, Frances Wine, Opal Whitis, and Christine Wadella. 

A Public Graveside Service will be held 1:00PM Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Bellevue Cemetery, 277 North First Street, Danville, KY 40422.  Ricky Jean Whitis will officiate the service.

Burial will immediately follow the service.
