Amelia Mae Hubble, 88, of Stanford, KY passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at home. Born Monday, February 19, 1934 in Jefferson County, KY to the late Earl H. Miller and Mary Taul Miller, she was the widow of the late John R. Hubble. She worked as a Certified Medication Technician for Stanford House Nursing Home for 15 years. Mrs. Hubble enjoyed quilting, gardening, and flowers, and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
She is survived by her three sons, Bruce Hubble (Brenda) of Reading, OH, Clay Hubble (Tonia) of Waynesburg, KY, and Dale Hubble of Stanford, KY; two brothers, Mathais Miller of Hardinsburg, KY, and Max Miller (Maryln) of Fordsville, KY; two sisters, Barbara Squires of Lakeland, FL, and Lynn Dowell of LaPort, IN; 13 grandchildren, Amber, Amy, Ashley (Nick), Eddie (Rose), Matt (Amanda), Austin, Tilden, Hagar, Daneth, Del, Naynett, Cody (Deedra), and Jesus; and ten great-grandchildren, Lydia, Levi, Addy, Grayson, Taygan, Oakley, John Case, Hadlee, Korbyn, and Emery. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.
A one-day service has been scheduled at Barnett, Demrow, & FRIEND Funeral Home in Waynesburg, KY on Thursday, December 1, 2022. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with funeral service beginning at 1pm. Bro. Kerry Jones will officiate the service and burial will follow at Jacobs Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Bruce Hubble, Clay Hubble, Dale Hubble, Matt Hubble, Austin Hubble, Tilden Hubble, Hagar Hubble, and Eddie Hubble. Honorary pallbearers are her granddaughters and her great-grandchildren.
