Alma Jean Delk, age 88, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. Born Thursday, April 14, 1932 in Waynesburg, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Bea Sims Reynolds. Her loving husband, whom she married on July 16, 1968, is Ralph Delk of Waynesburg. Alma Jean was of Baptist faith. She enjoyed her family and family reunions.
In addition to her husband, Alma Jean leaves behind two sons; Chuck Farthing (Rhonda) of Foley, Alabama and Randy Farthing of London, Kentucky; one step-son, Kenneth Delk (Kathy) of Walton, Kentucky; one daughter, Karen Walters (Billy) of Waynesburg; 12 grandchildren, including one step grandson; 23 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Scott of Stanford, Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, Alma Jean was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Farthing; four brothers, Carl, Leo, Boyce and Glen Roy Reynolds; and three sisters, Janelle Stone, Opal Smith and Marcie Faulkner.
A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-12PM Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.
A Public Funeral Service will be held at 12PM Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the funeral home with Bro. Vola Brown officiating the service. Burial will follow at Double Springs Cemetery.
