Alisa Jo Ruckel

Alisa Jo Ruckel, age 57, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 after her long, hard fought battle with cancer. Born Friday, March 6, 1964 in Danville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Conn & Charlene Mills Bodner of Stanford.  Her loving husband, whom she married Saturday, June 26, 1982 is Doug Ruckel of Stanford.  Alisa worked in the medical field for the past 27 years, and currently worked as a Lab Technician at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.  Alisa enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. 

In addition to her husband and parents, Alisa leaves behind two sons, Jordan Ruckel (Desiree) and Caleb Ruckel (Tabitha) both of Stanford; one daughter, Brittany Elkins (Kacey) of Lancaster, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Karson Lawhorn, Kelsi Ruckel, Meredith Ruckel, and Oliver Ruckel; one brother, Mark Bodner of Waynesburg; and several extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.

A Public Visitation will be held 12:30PM-2:30PM Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Pleasant View Baptist Church. 

A Public Memorial Service will begin at 2:30PM Saturday at the church.  Bro. Aaron Hogue will officiate the service.  The Public Memorial Service will be live streamed on Fox & Friend Funeral Home Facebook page.

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to COVID -19 regulations, face coverings must be worn by all in attendance for the Public Visitation and the Memorial Service; and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
