Adrian W. Richardson

Adrian W. Richardson, age 90, of Kings Mountain, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. Born Tuesday, April 15, 1930 in Middletown Ohio, he was the son of the late Luther and Jennie Bell Gumm Richardson. He was the loving husband of the late Nancy Powers Richardson, whom he married on June 28, 1958 and preceded him in death Sunday, December 22, 2019. Adrian was a member of Pond Baptist Church. Adrian loved to hunt and fish, work on the farm and was a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the UK Wildcats.

Adrian leaves behind one son; Dennis Keith Richardson of Kings Mountain, and one sister Viola Olinger of Vandalia, Ohio.

In addition to his wife and parents, Adrian was preceded in death by two brothers, Clay and Frank Richardson; and two sisters, Betty Hatter and Juanita Gourley.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-12PM Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Barnet, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 12PM Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the funeral home with Bro. David Gambrel officiating the service. Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery.  

PLEASE NOTE: Due to current restrictions, masks must be worn by all in attendance for the Public Visitation and the Funeral Service and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
