To the family, my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your loved one. As you cope with your loss, may you be comforted by the "Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" (2 Cor 1:3) that one day, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28, 29) May these promises from God's word, the Bible give you comfort now and real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.

Mrs. Hill meant so much to me, especially during my 7th and 8th grade years. Her support in class, sponsorship in Mathcounts, and the simple encouragements that she would extend whenever we would run into each other thereafter helped set me on the path to my future profession as an engineer and educator. I will always be grateful for her compassion, energy, and willingness to go above and beyond for her students and her community.

Mrs. Hill was a very special lady. She was one of my teachers at Stanford Elementary and she and her husband were our landlords on Lancaster Street in Stanford. My mother told me she kept the Peanuts drawing I did on the wall when the building was demolished. I don't know if that's true, but it sounds like something Mrs. Hill would do. She will be missed.

The community has lost a great Historian, a wonderful educator who carried on her knowledge to others and left a better place for all to live and learn. If you live in Stanford, you can't miss the many things that the Hill family has done for this community. Her husband T.J. made his mark in the court house, serving the community in his capacity as a Lawyer, her son T.J. was elected to Judge and was just ready to embark on his body of work when he was called and now Nancy has continued to do her part in all aspects of her community. Her help in this community will be seen by generations to come and praised by our neighbors who have known her.
May the Lord keep his hand upon the family and help them through this sadness and give them strength to carry on. Amen
