Matthew Kyle Hamilton

Matthew Kyle Hamilton, age 37, of Kings Mountain, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.  Born Wednesday, January 7, 1981 in Boyle County, he was the son of Jim and Joyce Hamilton.  Matthew was baptized as a child at Grove Ridge Baptist Church.  In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors, hunting ginseng, and looking for antique bottles and arrowheads. 

In addition to his parents, Matthew leaves behind one son, Michael Gage Hamilton of Kings Mountain; and one brother, Casey Hamilton(Angel) of Lawrenceburg.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Norma Salyers; and paternal grandparents, Edward “Shorty” and Elsie Hamilton.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.  Hannah Grace Napier, Kelsey Dunham, Isabella Strickland, Amanda Napier, Matt Greenlee, and Brian Todd Carmen will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.  After the service, cremation rites will be honored.

The Visitation will be held 5-8PM Friday, October 5, 2018 at the funeral home.
