Mary Maybrier Wolfe, age 94, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at her residence. Born Monday, July 13, 1925 in Lincoln County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Harry & Ruth Van Hook Maybrier. Her loving husband of 72 years, whom she married Monday, January 13, 1947, is Chester Wolfe of Waynesburg. Mary was a homemaker and previously enjoyed quilting and loved sunflowers. She will be remembered by all her family, whom she loved so much.
Mary leaves behind two sons, Jeffrey Wolfe of Waynesburg, and Stanley Wolfe (Kathy Lake) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Linda Wolfe of Frankfort, Kentucky; four grandchildren, David Wolfe of Berea, Kentucky, Jason Wolfe of Frankfort, Ashley Cline (Jesse) of Oklahoma City, and Lisa Marie of Texas; four great-grandchildren, Hannah Westerfield, Ivy Morgan Wolfe, Kensley Price, and Brantley Cline; one sister, Margaret Freeman of Tallahassee, Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by one son, Chester Lynn Wolfe; nine brothers, Arthur Maybrier, Harry Maybrier, Harvey Maybrier, Walter Maybrier, Charles Maybrier, Noble Maybrier, Ollie “Buck” Maybrier, Theodore Maybrier, and Bill Maybrier; and two sisters, Ida Pullen and Eileen Harrod.
A Funeral Service will be held 12:30PM Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Martin and Tommy Maybrier officiating the service. A 2:30PM Graveside Service will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Burial will follow the Graveside Service. Bobby Dawson, Buddy Dawson, Jason Wolfe, David Wolfe, Seth Perkins, Mike Warner, Johnny Ray Howard, and Richard Wolfe will serve as Active Pallbearers. Vickie Perkins and Gayla Spears will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
The Visitation will be held 5-8PM Monday, September 2, 2019 at the funeral home.
