Leroy Murphy

Leroy Murphy, age 58, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at his residence.  Born Wednesday, September 14, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clifford M. Murphy and the late Velva Phillips.  Leroy previously worked at Cincinnati Bulk Terminals and loved to fish in his spare time. 

Leroy leaves behind his wife, Mary Lanham Murphy of Cleves, Ohio; four sons, Zeb Murphy of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Dakota Murphy, Dalton Murphy, and Caleb Murphy all of Cleves; one granddaughter, Raylee Sue Murphy of Harrodsburg; mother, Leona Murphy of Kings Mountain, Kentucky; four brothers, Cliff Murphy, Jr. and Albert Wayne Murphy both of Kings Mountain, Rodney Lynn Murphy (Carla) of McKinney, Kentucky, and Larry Murphy (Jill) of Owensville, Ohio; two sisters, Anita Suzette Murphy of Kings Mountain, Misti Leane Murphy of Kings Mountain; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing. 

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Landa Kaye Pike; his brother, James Murphy; and first wife, Julie Murphy.

Cremation Rites have been honored.  A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
