Leonard E. Hubble, age 82, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 peacefully at home. Leonard was born Monday, March 30, 1936 in Waynesburg. He was the son of the late Fred L. Hubble & Bessie Clay Hubble.
Leonard was a retired farmer and veteran of the US Navy. He loved hunting and trapping, being outdoors, and was active in the Hubble Family Historical Society.
Leonard is survived by his wife of 51 years, Greta Leach Caldwell Hubble of Waynesburg; three daughters, Beverly Caldwell Burton (Phil), Jennifer Hubble, and Earla Smith (Roy) all of Stanford, Kentucky; one son, William Baker "Bill" (Miranda) Hubble of Stanford; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim; one sister, Christine; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by four brothers, Cleo, Carl, Baker, & John Hubble; one grandchild, Michael Dale Smith; and one son, Edwin "Edd" Caldwell.
The Visitation will be held 4-7PM Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home, Waynesburg. Funeral Services will be 12Noon Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the funeral home. Bro. Vola Brown & Bro. Greg Lockard will officiate the Funeral Services. Burial to follow at Jacobs Loop Cemetery with Full Military Honors performed by the Caswell-Saufley Post #18 of the American Legion.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Hubble, Dale Hubble, Walter Branum, Craig Padgett, Anthony "Boo" Smith, Kevin Marks, and Will Bramble.
