John W. "Johnny" Horney Obituary

John W. “Johnny” Horney, age 64, of Johnson Road in Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. Born Sunday, December 20, 1953 in New Augusta (Indianapolis), Indiana, he was the son of the late William Francis & Bessie Bishop Horney. Johnny was a Harley Davidson fan, enjoyed playing Bingo, and will be remembered for being a “jack of all trades”.

Johnny leaves behind two daughters, Nicole Horney and Crystal Horney both of Kirklin, Indiana; one sister-in-law, Vicki Horney Vann of Kings Mountain, Kentucky; several grandchildren; and one niece, Sarah Horney (Jeff Hall) of Kings Mountain.

In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Junior Horney.

Cremation Rites have been carried out. A Memorial Service and Burial will be held at a later date.
