Jack William Smith, age 62, of Logan Woods Drive in Stanford, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017. Born Wednesday, March 30, 1955 in Kings Mountain, he was the son of the late Grover C., Jr. & Dorothy Ellen Nelson Smith. Jack was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.
Jack leaves behind four brothers, Randall Smith (Peggy) of Burlington, Kansas, Red Smith (Sandy) of Detroit, Michigan, Timmy Smith (Marilyn Gooch) of Stanford, Henry Smith (Vicky) of Halls Gap; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by one son, Adam Smith; and two brothers, Grover C. Smith III and Gerald Smith.
Cremation Rites have been carried out. A Graveside Memorial Service, for family and friends, will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at KP Hall Cemetery in Kings Mountain.
