Isabelle Grace "Izzy" Godbey

Isabelle Grace “Izzy” Godbey, age 6, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, became God’s little angel on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.  Born Saturday, April 13, 2013 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, she was the daughter of William Chad & Janie Caudill Godbey of Waynesburg.  Izzy attended Crab Orchard Baptist Church.  She will be remembered for her big beautiful smile, her eye rolling and her spunky sass. 

In addition to her parents, Izzy leaves behind two brothers, Triston and Noah both of Waynesburg; two sisters, Emma & Mattie both of Waynesburg; maternal grandparents, Freeman & Nancy Caudill of Kings Mountain, Kentucky; paternal grandparents, Jeff & Sharon Godbey of Waynesburg; aunt, Niki Caudill of Kings Mountain; uncle, Kirk Godbey of Garrard County, Kentucky; and several other extended family and friends who mourn her passing. 

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Crab Orchard Baptist Church with Bro. TJ Godby officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Pond Cemetery in Kings Mountain.  Freeman Caudill, Jeff Godbey, Kirk Godbey, and Josh Alford will serve as Active Pallbearers.  Izzy’s brothers will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be held 5-8PM Tuesday, May 28, 2019 and after 9AM Wednesday at the church.
