Hurston Quinn Orcutt, age 62, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, formerly of Danville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019. Born Friday, January 25, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of the late Hurston & Callie Lucille Cook Orcutt. Hurston worked, for 19 years, at Northpoint as a Correctional Officer. Hurston enjoyed hunting squirrel, rabbit, and deer. Hurston also enjoyed sitting under his shade tree and gardening. He collected watches, coins & trains.
Hurston leaves behind his wife, Diane Dowell Fultz of Danville; two sons, Christopher Quinn Orcutt of Danville, and Justin Orcutt (Amanda Burton) of Russell Springs; and one daughter Patricia Lynn Orcutt Wilson (Shadow Green) of Danville; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren due soon; two brothers, Terry Orcutt (Geneva) of Brodhead, Kentucky, and Urban Ray Orcutt of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Leura Ann Buck of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; and other extended family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Hurston was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Holland Buck.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Nelson Reynolds officiating the service. Burial will follow in Olive Cemetery.
The Visitation will be held 5PM-8PM Monday, September 23, 2019 at the Funeral Home.
