Harold Partin

Harold Partin, age 78, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019. Born Friday, October 11, 1940 in Bell County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Tilden and Polly Fields Partin. Harold was a US Army Veteran, and a retired Engineer from Norfolk Southern. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, the outdoors and farming.

Harold leaves behind one son, Harold Tilden Partin (April Derringer) of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; two daughters, Tonya Partin of Clanton, Alabama and Regina Guinn (Gary) of Danville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Chad Stone of Nicholasville, Kentucky and William Guinn (Jennifer) of Danville; two great grandchildren, Taryn and Aiden Guinn, both of Danville; one brother, James Partin of Waynesburg, Kentucky; one sister, Beulah Skeens of Crab Orchard, Kentucky; and the mother of his children, Elizabeth Partin of Clanton, Alabama.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Vaughn; one brother, Herman Partin; and two sisters, Dixie King and Henrietta Dunn.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Friday, June 28, 2019 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. David Gambrel officiating the service. Burial will follow at Parlor Grove Cemetery with Full Military Honors performed by Caswell-Saufley Post #18 of the American Legion. Harold Tilden Partin, Gary Guinn, Will Guinn, Greg Noakes, Steve Noakes and Rodney Noakes will serve as Active Pallbearers. Tim Noakes, and Doug Dunn will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be 11AM-1PM Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Funeral Home.
