Gloria Sue Ruddy Mann

Gloria Sue Ruddy Mann, age 75, of Lexington, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.  Born Thursday, August 7, 1941 in Lansing, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late John and Donna Reed Ruddy.  She was the widow of the late George Williams who preceded her in death in 1989.  Gloria was a cosmetologist, and owned her own business for many years in Florida.

Gloria leaves behind two daughters, Sheryl Sue Williams Baunach (Norb) of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, and Cindy Lynne Williams Dwyer (Jim) of Fort Myers, Florida; one son, George V. Williams, Jr. of Augusta, Georgia; one brother, Jack Ruddy (Johnnie) of Huntsville, Alabama; one sister, Barbara Ruddy Reynolds (Bill) of Lexington; five grandchildren, Shane Manns, Devin Mansfield (Timmy), Jimmy Dwyer, Tiernan Dwyer, and Ryan Dwyer; and two great-grandchildren, Braylon Manns, and Haydon Mansfield.

Honoring Gloria’s wishes cremation rites were honored.  A Family Graveside Service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions suggested to Lexington Humane Society, 1600 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington, Kentucky 40504.
