Gladys M. Sallee Corhn Johnson Diaz

Gladys M. Sallee Corhn Johnson Diaz, age 86, of Mt. Salem, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Pickett Care & Rehab in Byrdstown, Tennessee.  Born Saturday, March 18, 1933 in Casey County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Stewart & Lucy Copley Sallee.  Gladys worked at Liberty Sportswear and Fruit of the Loom for many years. She was a member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting, gardening, flowers, and farming. 

Gladys leaves behind two sons, Ronald Corhn and Billy Corhn both of Mt. Salem; one daughter, Margaret Peavley of Mt. Salem; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; 4 brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by one son, Carl Corhn; one son-in-law, Paul Peavley; and 9 brothers and sisters.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Monday, August 19, 2019 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Pittman officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.  Jordan Harrell, Jared Harrell, Josh Harrell, Jake Harrell, Shawn Owens, Tommy Sallee, Allen Murphy, and Quinton Brown will serve as Active Pallbearers.  

The Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Monday at the funeral home.
