Everett Ray "Junior" Hines, Jr.

Everett Ray “Junior” Hines Jr., age 33, of Logans Woods Drive in Stanford passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at his residence. Born Monday, August 6, 1984 in Danville, he was the son of Rebecca Sims Payton (Rannie) of Stanford and the late Everett Ray Hines, Sr. His loving wife, whom he married May 16, 2011, is Kendra Cope Hines of Stanford. Junior worked as a printing press operator at WestRock in Nicholasville and attended Southland Christian Church in Danville. Junior loved his family deeply and treasured his time with them. He also enjoyed working on cars and was always happy and loved to make others happy as well.

In addition to his wife, mother, and “second dad”, Junior leaves behind one son, Evan Ray Hines; one brother, Troy Payton of Georgetown; one sister-in-law, Kayla Green (Jared) of Danville; one brother-in-law, Brandon Cope of Danville; mother-in-law, Rhonda Jean Cope of Danville; father-in-law, Ronnie Cope of Danville; paternal grandmother, Laura Jewell Taylor Hines of Stanford; and two uncles, Jimmy Sims of Junction City and Richard Sims of Stanford.

In addition to his father, Junior was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Ray Hines; maternal grandparents, James and Betty Sims; and one uncle, Darvin Sims.

A Funeral Service will be held from 1PM Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Kerry Jones officiating the service. Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Troy Payton, Jimmy Sims, Brian Hart, Jared Green, Brandon Cope, Josh Hale, and Dom Masterson will serve as Active Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be held 11AM- 1PM Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the funeral home in Stanford.
