Ethel Hall, age 74, of Glade Fork Road in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Born Monday, July 24, 1944 in the Blackey Community of Letcher County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Delza & Arlie Eldridge. Her loving husband, whom she married January 11, 1964 is Gershan Hall of Crab Orchard. Ethel worked in Accounting and was a member of Olive Baptist Church. Ethel was very dedicated to her family and loved them deeply.
In addition to her husband, Ethel leaves behind one daughter, Benita Jo Reeves of Eminence, Kentucky; one son, Michael Paul Hall of Monticello, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Tiffany Hall and Paul Hall both of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Kaleb Reeves, and Austin Taniges both of Eminence, Kentucky; six great-grandchildren, Jaelyn, Olana, Junior, Mady, Noah, and Zylan; and three sisters, Gladis Allen of Shepherdsville, Helen Meece of Somerset, Kentucky, and Dorothy Ann Butt of Crab Orchard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two step-dads, Everett “Johnny” Vanover and George Shea; and two sisters, Alice Mae Vanover and Irene Eldridge.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Friday, March 29, 2019 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Olive Cemetery.
The Visitation will be held 6-9PM Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the funeral home.
