Doyle Eldridge

Doyle Eldridge, age 52, of Stanford, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Born Monday, January 9, 1967 in Somerset, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Carl and Gladys Caudill Eldridge. His loving wife, whom he married January 7, 1989, is Deedee Blair Eldridge. Doyle was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and was a former employee of the State Highway Department. He loved to trade, go camping, ride four-wheelers and was known as a shade tree mechanic. Doyle loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Doyle leaves behind one son, Coy Dean Eldridge (Chasity) of Stanford; one grandchild, Eliana Nicole Eldridge; four brothers, Curtis Eldridge (Pamela) of Waynesburg, Kentucky, Danny Ray Eldridge (Janice) of Springfield, Missouri, Carl Eldridge Jr. (Jamie) of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Doyle’s twin brother, Teddy Eldridge of Springfield, Kentucky; three sisters, Dorothy Roberts (Columbus) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kathy Padgett (Blane) of Frankfort, Kentucky and Phyllis Denney (Ray) of Crab Orchard, Kentucky; also survived by 88 other immediate family members.

In addition to his parents, Doyle was preceded in death by one daughter, Shonda Renee Eldridge; one brother, Coy Eldridge and one sister, Hazel Poynter.

A Funeral Service will be held 12:00PM Monday, June 17, 2019 at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Waynesburg with Bro. Kyle Page officiating the service. Burial will follow at Clear Fork Cemetery. Coy Eldridge, Chad Miniard, Shannon Pumphrey, Eric Mason, James Blair Jr. and T.J. Fields will serve as Active Pallbearers. Mike Bastin and Jason Edward Eldridge will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be held 10AM-12PM Monday, June 17, 2019 at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Waynesburg, Kentucky.
