Danny Joe Crawford

Danny Joe Crawford, age 70, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018. Born Friday, August 22, 1947 in Stanford, he was the son of the late James Thomas & Margaret Josephine Rice Crawford. His loving wife, whom he married April 2, 1976, is Becky Crawford. Danny worked as a truck driver. He attended Lexington Baptist Temple. In his spare time Danny enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing the guitar and enjoyed bluegrass music. Danny was all about family getting together with them.

In addition to his wife, Danny leaves behind one son, Justin Todd Crawford (Jessi) of Liberty, Kentucky; one daughter, Pamela Jo Tucker (Chad) of Madisonville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Cody Lee Crawford, Cameron Todd Crawford (Sheryl), David Alexander Hack, Rachel Lynn Hack, Conner Tucker, McKenzie Tucker, Darren Joseph Ray, and Jada Marie Purdy; one great grandchild, Logan Todd Crawford; one brother Robert Lee Crawford of Lexington Kentucky; one sister June Long of Florida; and a special friend, his dog, Precious.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by two brothers, James Rice Crawford and Samuel Clyde Crawford; and one sister Sandra Gail Crawford.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Dr. Rex McPherson officiating the service. Burial will follow in McCormack Church Cemetery.

The visitation will be held 6-8PM Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the funeral home.
